How I Work

No-obligation discovery call
01

No-obligation discovery call

Finding a celebrant is like dating: you need to find someone you click with, and it's nothing personal if you don't. A 15-minute discovery call is a great way for us to work out if we're a good match.

Getting to know you

Getting to know you

You'll complete a questionnaire that gives me plenty of juicy backstory to work with, and also enlightens me about your approach to marriage because no two couples are the same. We'll meet to discuss your wishes for the ceremony and sign the Notice of Intended Marriage at least one month prior to your ceremony.

Fine tuning

Fine tuning

A bit of back and forth to fine tune the ceremony is really common. I'll write it out in full and share via Google Docs so you can edit and comment to your heart's content. Once we're settled, it's go-time!

The rehearsal

The rehearsal

No matter how confident you're feeling, a rehearsal always uncovers something none of us had thought of. Maybe the sun's in your eyes at that time of day, or your future mother-in-law doesn't know how many kisses on the cheek she should give. A rehearsal is a must to create a seamless wedding ceremony where you can relax and trust the process.

The day itself

The day itself

I'll rock up nice and early while you're enjoying the pre-ceremony jitters. I'll speak to the necessary people — venue manager, photographer, reception MC as applicable — and make sure everyone has the same expectations. Then it'll be time for your magic moment with all of your family and friends.
